Naval steel works subcontractor – New Project - casing and pre-assembly works
NEW PROJECT is a company founded in 2005 in Varna, Bulgaria, having as main activity steel works, maintenance and ship repair. The company also has a subsidiary in Riga, Latvia.
From the very begining, New Project has established itself as a distinguished collaborator among national and international shipyards.
As subcontractor for the largest Bulgarian shipyards - and in particular for the Bulyard shipyard - New Project has been able to biuld its reputation thanks to its quality services.
Since the beginning of 2011, the company has become a member of the Bulgarian National Association for Shipbuilding and Repair (BULNAS).
New Project builds fishing vessels (trawlers) for Norwegian, Finnish and Scottish clients. The Bulgarian company also has a prefabrication workshop.
New Project’s team is made up of 120 people specialized in steel works - construction of sections, piping assembly and fitting, hull work, pre-assembly of blocks, etc.
Opened towards the European market, New Project wishes to develop it’s activity in France. The company has been accompanied by the teams of Evropa Rv since 2015.
Lead by very experienced team leaders, New Project’s staff carries out casing, pre-assembly and section assembly, pre-block assembly works on the Chantiers de l'Atlantique in Saint-Nazaire.
It’s teams intervene as a 2nd rank subcontractor on the works proposed by French shipyards. Demonstrating an excellent ability to adapt to the challenges of the naval sector, New Project is one of the oldest subcontractors accompanied by Evropa Rv.
